Welcome to Dakota Dawg

Dakota Dawg was founded in loving memory of Dakota, a rescued puppy who became a beloved companion for fourteen years. Abandoned with her littermates on a West Virginia highway at just five weeks old, Dakota was saved by a good Samaritan, a shelter, and a New Jersey rescue group just one day before she was scheduled to be euthanized.

From the day she arrived, Dakota filled our lives with joy, comfort, adventure, and unconditional love. Though we lost her to brain cancer, her spirit remains at the heart of Dakota Dawg—a brand created to celebrate the passions, interests, and simple joys that make life meaningful.

Our Mission

To honor Dakota’s legacy, ten percent of net proceeds from every Dakota Dawg purchase will support charitable causes. Dakota Dawg proceeds benefit Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Pier Rat proceeds support Loggerhead Marinelife Center, and Buckingham Mountain proceeds benefit Special Equestrians. With every order, we hope to help more animals and people experience the second chances, healing, and love that Dakota inspired.
